Scottish Borders Wedding Photography - Ashley & Simon's Wedding

Ashley & Simon are Farmers from just outside Kelso and they got married on 9th July at Melerstain House in the Scottish Borders. It was a picturesque setting for the ceremony which ws outside in an open Marquee overlooking the Gardens. The Marquee also provided much needed shelter from the rain which came down in sheets that day!
The good old Scottish weather didn't phase Ashley & Simon though, they were adamant that they wanted stunning pictures. So with the help of umbrellas we went ahead and made the most of melerstain's beautiful grounds, creating an album of gorgeous images.
Here are some of the images taken on that day, you wouldn't even know it was raining!
This has got to be one of our absolute favourites, the nervous look from Simon, the proud look from Ashley's Dad and the happiness on Ashley's face make an image that could only happen naturally. You just can't pose a shot like that!

Just as the minster finished the blessing and said "Amen", there was an almighty clap of thunder. Someone up there obviously approved!

The whole wedding party

The guests were all good sports sheltering under umbrellas between group photographs.

Simon's niece and flowergirl on the day, Hannah showing off her beautiful dress.

After the guests had gone on to the reception at Ashley & Simon's farm, our Bride & Groom stayed back for some time together enabling us to capture these romantic shots of the two of them.

The reception was held in a Maquee back at the Farm.We loved the name cards on the tables, attached to the wine glasses with a little clothespeg.

We would like to thank Ashley & Simon and their families for sticking with it during the rain. You all enabled us to get the shots we wanted and we're sure you'll agree it was worth it!

Glenskirlie Castle Wedding Photographers - Victoria & Robert

This is Victoria & Roberts Glenskirlie Castle Wedding. Victoria & Robert got married on 6th July and we were lucky enough to be chosen as their Wedding Photographers. It was a fantastic day and although we had rain, the sun came out for the photographs and the results are beautiful.
Here are some of our shots from that day.
We loved the vibrant colour scheme for the wedding, the purples, and oranges in the flowers really jumped out.
Victoria's team of 6 bridesmaids did an excellent job helping her into the dress!

This is a favourite shot of ours. Victoria's Mum Lori looking proudly on in the background.

Victoria's 3 Flowergirls Laia, Taia & Keira waiting patiently in the background before the ceremony.

Victoria & Robert wanted this fun shot in the car as it belongs to Victoria's stepdad John. Luckily the rain held off!

Scottish Borders Wedding Photographers - Thomas & Claire's Selkirk Wedding

Thomas & Claire got married at St Joseph's Church in Selkirk and their reception was held at Selkirk Rugby Club. They are a lovely couple and were great to work with. They love architecture and old stonework so had chosen to have pictures taken at the Haining which provided the perfect dramatic backdrop for our shots.
We would like to thanks Thomas & Claire and both their families for making us feel part of the day, you were all amazing and we very much enjoyed spending the day with you.
Here are some of Thomas & Claire's images.

Claire was walked to the church door by her very proud Grandfather before being escorted up the aisle by her equally pround Brother.

Claire & her two Bridesmaids, best friend Lesley-Ann & Thomas' sister Charlie.

The following shots were taken at the Haining with its beautiful stonework and architecture.

Loch Lomond Wedding Photographers - Jemma & Andy's Wedding

Jemma Thow & Andy MacMillan got married on 18th June at Loch Lomond Waterfront Luxury Lodges, in a marquee right on the banks of Loch Lomond.
It was a beautiful setting for a very relaxed and informal wedding and the rain held off just until we'd finished the photos. After that the heavens opened with torrential rain!
The images we shot on the day are stunning against the dramatic backdrop of Loch Lomond, we can't fail with scenery like that!
Here are a selection of images from Jemma & Andy's special day.

Loch Lomond Wedding Photography - Victoria & Ian's Wedding

Wedding Photography Cameron House - Victoria & Ian's Wedding.
Victoria & Ian got married on 11th June at Luss Church & Cameron House. We had the pleasure of being their Wedding Photographers on that day.
Here are some of the images we took.

This was Victoria & ian as we led them down to the loch side at Luss after the wedding ceremony. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and the heavens opened causing a mad dash back to Cameron House!

Our happy couple arriving back at Cameron House in the rain which, incidently, never stopped for the rest of the day!

We had the pleasure of working with Gee Whiz Wedding Films at Victoria & Ian's wedding. Alasdair & Elaine are great to work with and offer an amazing little extra called "Perfect Day". This involves the wedding guests miming to the song Perfect Day and looks fantastic when edited and added to the main wedding video. The last two images, below, are shots from that part of the day.

Aberdeen Wedding Photographers - Lynne & Scott's Wedding

Lynne Anderson & Scott Brymer were married on 27th May at Kings College Aberdeen where they both attended and fell in love, and their reception was held at the Marcliffe Hotel at Pitfodels.
Here are some of the images we took on their special day.
