Outdoor Portrait Photography - Becky, Chris & Eve

Here are some beautiful images of our last Portrait Shoot. Georgeous little Eve came with her Mum & Dad, Becky & Chris, to have her Portraits taken.

After taking some studio shots, we decided to go outside where Eve could run around and just be herself. As you can see we captured some stunning natural shots of Eve in her sundress amongst the flowers in our local park.

We're definately getting a big one printed and framed for display in our studio, but we're spoiled for choice as to which one to choose!

Environmental Portrait Photography - Hannah

We had a lovely Portrait Photography session recently with Hannah. She's off to university soon and Mum & Dad wanted some natural shots of her before she goes.

We opted for an outdoor shoot and a casual look in the beautiful countryside of the Scottish Borders.

Good luck with University Hannah, the pics are great!

Classic Portrait Photographer of the Year

The annual Master Photographers Associaton Scottish Awards were held yesterday at Dunblane Hydro . We are delighted to announce that we have won the overall title of Scottish Classic Portrait Photographer of the Year 2011.

The winning image which is shown below is our client Don Nedler from Texas USA, whom we were commisioned to photograph in Australia back in March.

The winning image was shot in Black & White, in studio, with a single light to give a classic look. We wanted to create a more edgy feel though with the facial expression. Dark clothing was chosen to compliment the whole look.

Thanks goes to the judges for acknowledging the artistry and creativity of the image, and most of all thanks to Don for commisioning us to begin with.

As well as the overall title of Classic Portrait Photographer of the Year we also received

Classic Wedding Photographer of the Year - Award of Merit & Award of Excellence

Contemporary Wedding Photographer of the Year - Award of Excellence

Reportage Wedding Photographer of the Year - Award of Merit

Classic Portrait Photographer of the Year - Award of Merit

Complete Portrait Photographer of the Year - Award of Excellence

Glenskirlie Castle Wedding Photography - Lara & Grant

We were off to Banknock near Stirling last Saturday to photograph the wedding of Lara & Grant, who were married at Glenskirlie Castle.

You couldn't meet a nicer couple than Lara & Grant and it was a pleasure working with them. We spent a lot of time taking pictures inside the Castle as the weather didn't behave itself, but luckily the sun came out later on and our happy couple were able to pose for a few romantic shots with the Castle in the background.

Here are a few of grant & Lara's beautiful images, their album is going to be stunning!
